Oliver Geis

Oliver Horst Geis (born June 20, 1991 in Limburg an der Lahn ) is a German marksman specializing in the rapid fire pistol .

Geis won the bronze medal at the 2011 European Junior Championships. At the European Championships in 2013 he won his first title with the team. In 2014 he won the title with the team at the World Championships in Granada and took second place in the individual competition. In 2015, the first European Games were held in Baku , Oliver Geis received the bronze medal. At the European Championships in Maribor in 2015, he won both individually and with the team. Also in 2015, Geis achieved his first World Cup victory in Fort Benning. At the pre-Olympic World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Geis came fourth in 2016. The shooting competitions for the 2016 Olympic Games will also be held on the same facility . At the 2016 Olympic competitions, Geis did not reach the final battle for the medals as 17th in the qualification.

Oliver Geis used to belong to the St. Hubertus Mengerskirchen club , but then switched to SV 1935 Kriftel , for which Christian Reitz also starts.
