Fleurie is located about twelve kilometers south-southwest of Mâcon . She is the namesake of the Fleurie wine-growing region . Fleurie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Émeringes in the north and north-west, Chénas in the north, Romanèche-Thorins in the east, Lancié in the south and south-east, Villié-Morgon in the south, Chiroubles in the west and south-west and Vauxrenard in the west and north-west.
