Régnié-Durette is a French commune with 1,119 inhabitants (January 1, 2017) in the Rhône department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . Régnié-Durette belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône and the canton of Belleville (until 2015: canton of Beaujeu ). The inhabitants are called Durégnatons .

geography

Régnié-Durette is located about 18 kilometers north-northwest of Villefranche-sur-Saône . Régnié-Durette is surrounded by the neighboring communities Villié-Morgon in the north and east, Cercié in the south and south-east, Quincié-en-Beaujolais in the south and south-west, Lantignié in the west and Deux-Grosnes with Avenas in the north-west.

In 1973 the municipalities of Régnié and Durette were merged.
