Salles-Arbuissonnas-en-Beaujolais is a French municipality with 791 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Rhône in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône and the canton of Gleizé (until 2015: canton of Belleville ). The inhabitants are called Stéphanois .
geography
Salles-Arbuissonnas-en-Beaujolais is located about 34 kilometers north-north-west of Lyon and about eight kilometers north-west of Villefranche-sur-Saône in the historic Beaujolais landscape . The Vauxonne flows along the northern edge of the municipality . Salles-Arbuissonnas-en-Beaujolais is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities Le Perréon in the north and northwest, Saint-Etienne-des-Oullières in the north and northeast, Blacé in the south and east as well as Vaux-en-Beaujolais in the West.
