Lantignié is a French commune with 880 inhabitants (January 1, 2017) in the Rhône department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . Lantignié belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône and the canton of Belleville (until 2015: canton of Beaujeu ). The inhabitants are called Lantigniéens .

Lantignié is located about 19 kilometers north-northwest of Villefranche-sur-Saône . Lantignié is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Deux-Grosnes with Avenas in the north, Régnié-Durette in the east and south-east, Quincié-en-Beaujolais in the south and Beaujeu in the west.
