Chambost-Allières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lamure-sur-Azergues in the north, Saint-Cyr-le-Chatoux in the east and northeast, Rivolet in the east, Létra in the south and southeast, Chamelet in the south, and Saint-Just-d'Avray in the West and southwest and Grandris in the west and northwest.
