The canton of Lamure-sur-Azergues is a former French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône and in the Rhône department of the Rhône-Alpes region . Its main town was Lamure-sur-Azergues . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Denis Longin ( UDF ).
