The District of Le Bois-d'Oingt is a French constituency in the department of Rhône in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It comprises 23 communities in the Arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône and has its main town (French: bureau centralisateur ) in Val d'Oingt . It was enlarged in 2015 as a result of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons.

Until the reorganization, the canton of Le Bois-d'Oingt included the 18 municipalities of Bagnols , Chamelet , Chessy , Châtillon , Frontenas , Jarnioux , Le Bois-d'Oingt , Le Breuil , Légny , Létra , Moiré , Oingt , Saint-Laurent-d 'Oingt , Saint-Vérand , Sainte-Paule , Ternand , Theizé and Ville-sur-Jarnioux . Its layout corresponded to an area of 146.86 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 6906.
With effect from January 1, 2013, the former municipalities of Nuelles and Saint-Germain-sur-l'Arbresle , then still in the canton of L'Arbresle , were merged to form the municipality of Saint-Germain-Nuelles .

- Merger of Liergues and Pouilly-le-Monial → Porte des Pierres Dorées
