The Canton Caluire-et-Cuire was 2015 a French canton in the arrondissement of Lyon in the department of Rhône of the french region Rhône-Alpes . It included the city of Caluire-et-Cuire and was abolished when the Métropole de Lyon replaced the Rhône department as a local authority and the cantons lost their function as constituencies. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Alain Jeannot ( UMP ).
