The Canton Anse is a French canton in the department of Rhône in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It comprises 15 municipalities in the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône and has its main town (French: bureau centralisateur ) in Anse .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in 2015, the canton of Anse included the 15 municipalities of Alix , Ambérieux , Anse , Belmont-d'Azergues , Charnay , Chazay-d'Azergues , Lachassagne , Liergues , Lozanne , Lucenay , Marcy , Morancé , Pommiers , Pouilly-le-Monial and Saint-Jean-des-Vignes . Its layout corresponded to an area of 85.24 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a slightly different INSEE code than it does today, namely 6902.
