The canton of Lyon-IV was a French canton in the Arrondissement of Lyon and in the Rhône-Alpes region until 2015 . It originally belonged to the Rhône department and comprised the 9th district (French: 9 e arrondissement ) of Lyon . The canton was abolished when, at the turn of the year 2014/2015 , the Métropole de Lyon replaced the Département Rhône as the higher-level regional authority and the cantons lost their function as constituencies. Marc Feuillet ( PS ) was the representative in the conseil général des Départements .
