The Canton Oullins was 2015 a French canton in the arrondissement of Lyon and the region Rhône-Alpes . It originally belonged to the Rhône department and included the city of Oullins . The canton was abolished when the Métropole de Lyon replaced the Département Rhône as the superordinate regional authority of Oullins at the turn of the year 2014/2015 and the cantons lost their function as constituencies. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Jean-Louis Ubaud ( PS ).
