Moire (also: Moire en-Beaujolais ) is a French municipality with 210 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Rhône in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône , to the canton of Le Bois-d'Oingt and is a member of the Beaujolais Pierres Dorées community . The inhabitants are called Moiréens .
geography
Moiré is located around 25 kilometers northwest of Lyon and around ten kilometers southwest of Villefranche-sur-Saône in the Bourgogne wine region . Moiré is surrounded by the neighboring communities Theizé in the north and northeast, Frontenas in the east, Bagnols in the south, Val d'Oingt with Le Bois-d'Oingt in the west and Oingt in the north-west.
