history
Thizy-les-Bourgs came into being with effect from January 1, 2013, when the municipalities of Thizy , Bourg-de-Thizy, La Chapelle-de-Mardore, Mardore and Marnand were combined into a commune nouvelle called Thizy-les-Bourgs . Thizy was set as the main town.
