Aigueperse is a French municipality with 248 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Rhône in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône and the canton of Thizy-les-Bourgs . The inhabitants are called Aiguepersirons . Aigueperse is surrounded by Saint-Bonnet-des-Bruyères in the east and Saint-Igny-de-Vers in the south, in the Rhône department , Matour in the northeast, Châtenay , Gibles and Saint-Racho in the west, in the Saône-et-Loire department .
