geography
Sourcieux-les-Mines is located about 16 kilometers west-northwest of Lyon in the heart of the Monts du Lyonnais . Sourcieux-les-Mines is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Éveux in the north, Lentilly in the east, Pollionnay in the southeast, Saint-Pierre-la-Palud in the south and southwest and Sain-Bel in the west.
