geography
Cercié is located on the Ardière , a tributary of the Saône in the Bourgogne wine-growing region . Cercié is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Régnié-Durette in the north and north-west, Villié-Morgon in the north and north-east, Belleville-en-Beaujolais in the east, Saint-Lager in the south and Quincié-en-Beaujolais in the west and south-west.
