Villie-Morgon is a French commune with 2,111 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Rhône in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône and the canton of Belleville (until 2015: canton of Beaujeu ). The inhabitants are called Villiatons .

Villié-Morgon is located about 40 kilometers north-north-west of Lyon in the Bourgogne wine-growing region and is surrounded by the neighboring communities Chiroubles in the north and north-west, Fleurie in the north, Lancié in the north-east, Corcelles-en-Beaujolais in the east, Belleville-en-Beaujolais in the south-east, Cercié in the south, Régnié-Durette in the west and south-west and Deux-Grosnes with Avenas in the north-west.
