geography
Saint-Julien-sur-Bibost is located about 24 kilometers west-northwest of Lyon in the Beaujolais landscape in the Monts du Lyonnais . The Conan River , a tributary of the Brévenne, flows through the municipality . Saint-Julien-sur-Bibost is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ancy in the north, Savigny in the east and northeast, Bibost in the east, Bessenay in the south and southeast, Brullioles in the south and Montrottier in the west.

Attractions
- The church dates from the 17th century and was restored in 1998. It contains, among other things, a statue of the Virgin and Child made of gilded wood and a reliquary , both of which are listed in the list of monuments. It also has a carillon with seven bells.
