Porte des Pierres Dorées is a French commune with 3,753 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Rhône in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Le Bois-d'Oingt in the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône . The residents call themselves the Doréen.
It was created with effect from January 1, 2017 as Commune nouvelle through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities of Pouilly-le-Monial and Liergues , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Pouilly-le-Monial.
With effect from January 1, 2019, the municipality of Jarnioux was incorporated and also has the status of a Commune déléguée.
