Oliver Koehr

Oliver Köhr is a German television journalist . Since January 2019 he has been deputy head of the ARD - Hauptstadtstudios and deputy editor-in-chief for television.

Life

Köhr studied politics and journalism and finished his studies with a diploma. He then volunteered at the MDR . After working as an editor and moderator at MDR radio, he switched to MDR Aktuell as a planner and manager .

From 2008 to 2011 he was the studio manager of MDR television in the ARD capital studio. Since January 2012 he has been the correspondent of the TV community editorial office in the ARD capital studio. In January 2019 he succeeded Thomas Baumann as deputy head of the ARD capital studio and deputy editor-in-chief for television.

Koehr achieved notoriety on the Internet with the sentence “Yo see you”, which he said after a report when he said goodbye.
