Oliver Martin Kraas (born April 18, 1975 in Germiston ) is a former South African cross-country skier .

Career

Kraas took part in FIS cross-country skiing competitions from 2003 to 2010. He ran his first World Cup race in January 2004 in Nové Mesto , which he finished in 61st place in the sprint. He got his best World Cup result in January 2006 in Oberstdorf with the 38th place in the sprint. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Pragelato , he reached 57th place in the sprint. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he took 61st place in the sprint. His best placings at the world cross-country skiing championships were 23rd in the team sprint in 2005 and 46th in the sprint in 2007 .
