Oliver P. Aro
Oliver Pugoy Aro MSP (born October 10, 1961 in Pagadian City , Philippines ) is a Filipino religious priest and emeritus Apostolic Superior of Tokelau .
Life
Oliver P. Aro joined the Congregation of the Mission Society of the Philippines at and received on 2 January 1997, the priestly ordination . He then served as a missionary in Papua New Guinea and New Zealand .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on May 6, 2011 as Apostolic Superior of Tokelau. The inauguration of Aros took place on October 2nd of the same year. He held the position of superior until 2018.
