Oliver Stöckli (born December 28, 1976 ) is a former Swiss football player . He played in the position of goalkeeper .

Stöckli began his career at FC Basel in 1996. After only seven appearances in two seasons, he moved to FC Baden for the 1998/1999 season . After only a year he returned to Basel. After another season he was transferred to FC Winterthur and later to FC St. Gallen . At St. Gallen he had his most active time and was used in 44 games. After stints at FC Lugano , FC Sion and FC Concordia Basel , he moved to FC Aarau during the winter break of the 2004/05 season and returned to FC Winterthur in 2006. There he played relatively successfully and was used again regularly. From 2008 Stöckli was back under contract with FC Basel. There he came as 3rd resp. from June 2009 4th goalkeeper was rarely used and was also involved in the youth team's coaching team. At the end of the 2009 season, Oliver Stöckli ended his active football career.
