Oliver Stern (musician)

Oliver Stern (born January 20, 1953 in Nortorf ; actually Uwe Hauschild ) is a German Schlager country interpreter, composer, lyricist, music producer and book author.

Life

While at school, Hauschild founded a school band and wrote his first hit song at the age of 14, I'm looking forward to the weekend . After completing a commercial apprenticeship, he devoted himself entirely to music. There were many hits , folk and country titles that were released on phonograms. Oliver Stern also wrote songs for various of his fellow singers

In 2002 the autobiographically oriented book Wieder Leben was published by Logophon Verlag , in which Stern talks about the alcoholism he had defeated since 1988 . In 2008 his children's book "Malte Mut und die Insel Namenlos" was published by Florino-Verlag.

From 2009 the composer and producer Christian Bruhn produced an album with Oliver Stern. All 14 compositions for the album are by Christian Bruhn. Michael Kunze , Wolfgang Hofer and Oliver Stern are responsible for the texts themselves. The album was released on August 5, 2011 with the record company PAPAGAYO-Gerig-Musikverlage. In October 2014 Oliver Stern released the cover version of the world hit "Rock n Roll, I gave you the best years of my life" by Australian Kevin Johnson, with his own German text: "Rock n Roll, I gave you my best years", With the express permission of Kevin Johnson and original music publisher SONY.
