Olivier Guimond fils ( Tizoune jr ; born May 21, 1914 in Montreal , † November 29, 1971 ibid) was a Canadian actor.

The son of vaudeville actors Olivier Guimond père and Effi Mac (Effi MacDonald) lived from the age of seven to sixteen at the Collège Mont-Saint-Louis in Montreal. In 1932 he made his debut at the Thêátre Imperial in Quebec, where he appeared in supporting roles alongside actors such as Arthur and Juliette Pétrie . In 1933 he joined his father's drama troupe. He appeared in the National , King Edward and Starland and gradually took over the stage character of Tizoune from his father.

He went on several tours with Jean Grimaldi and worked with young colleagues such as Gilles Pellerin , Paul Berval and Denis Drouin during the Second World War . From 1948 to 1957 he appeared with Paul Desmarteaux and Manda Parent in the Thêátre Radio-Cité directed by Grimaldi .

Guimond became famous in Canada when Radio Canada hired him in 1958 for the variety show Music Hall . He later played leading roles in Télé-Métropole television series such as Cré Basile , Le Zoo du Capitaine Bonhomme , La Branche d'Olivier and Smash . In addition, he took part in several revues of Société Radio Canada for the annual review. He also appeared in operettas such as Les Trois valses and La Vie Parisienne .
