Ollern

Ollern is a town and cadastral community in the market town of Sieghartskirchen in the Tulln district in Lower Austria .

The street village with a triangular green is located halfway between Tullnerfeld and Riederberg, southeast of the city of Tulln on the Danube .

history

In a document, Emperor Konrad II donated the Alarun court , which is usually identified with Ollern, to the bishops of Freising in 1033 . In 1803 the rule of Hollenberg-Ollern was nationalized, which resulted in state cameral rule by the banker Geymüller from 1803 to 1811. In 1809 the place was destroyed by the French.
