Olli Tahvonen
Olli Tahvonen (born February 15, 1958 ) is a Finnish economist . He is a specialist in environmental economics .
Life
Tahvonen studied from 1981 to 1986 on the one hand at the Helsinki School of Economics Economics and Management , on the other hand, philosophy and anthropology at the University of Helsinki . He then stayed as an assistant at the commercial college and completed his doctorate in 1991 .
From 1991 to 1996 he worked as a fellow at Suomen Akatemia . He also started teaching environmental economics at the Helsinki University of Commerce in 1995. In 1998 he was appointed professor at the Metsäntutkimuslaitos .
