League affiliation and successes of the women's team

For the first time in the 1995/96 season , the footballers from Saint-Memmie belonged to France's highest women's division, the Championnat National 1 A , from which they had to relegate after two seasons. In 1999 Olympique returned to the first division and until 2006 remained a member of the French elite class, which has since been renamed Division 1 Féminine . During this time, the club has had a number of national players in its ranks, in particular the record scorer of the Bleues , Marinette Pichon , who also took part in the European Championship finals in 1997 and 2001 during her time in Saint-Memmie and in 2002 as Football Player of the Year with a French trophy Professional players union UNFP was awarded. Gaëtane Thiney became the 2003 U-19 European Champion during the eight years she played for the club .

The women from Champagne have not yet made it to a national championship title ; their best placement was a fifth place in the final ranking of the 2000/01 season , while otherwise they mostly did not get beyond the bottom third of the table. In the 2001 established national cup competition for the Challenge de France , Olympique advanced in the 2005/06 season as the best result in the round of the last sixteen women's teams. In the 2013/14 season, Olympique Saint-Memmie will only play in the regional Division d'Honneur .
