The road race of women in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo will take place on July 25 2021st

Route

The race will start from Musashinonomori Park in Chofu . The athletes have to cover 137 kilometers to the finish in the Fuji International Speedway and complete a total of 4,865 meters in altitude. The race runs through the mostly flat outskirts of Tokyo. After 80 kilometers there is an ascent on Doushi Road with a total height of 1000 meters. The course continues through several small villages and dense forest to Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi . After crossing the Kagosaka Pass, there is a 15-kilometer descent. Then the route leads to the Fuji Speedway section, where you have to drive one and a half laps, 17 kilometers before the finish you have to do another lap to the Fuji International Speedway.
