Yamanaka Lake and Fuji |
The Lake Yamanaka ( Jap. 山中湖 , Yamanaka-ko ) is one of the Fuji Five Lakes near Mount Fuji in Japan .
It is located near Yamanakako in Yamanashi Prefecture and is part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park . Since June 22, 2013 it has been part of the Fuji World Heritage Site .
From 1986 to 1996 and 2004 the Mount Fuji Jazz Festival took place on the bank .
