content
The series revolves around the experiences of middle school student Nori Kamitsuki, who is moving from Chiba to Gunma Prefecture. Before moving, he only heard rumors about the backwardness of the region and the strange people who live there. Once there, and above all in his school, he is then confronted with people who show extraordinary love for their homeland and its special features - and encounter strangers with suspicion or even hostility. He can only slowly establish contacts with the locals, with his friend Otoya Todoroki, who comes from here and whom he met in Chiba, help. The girl Kyō Shinooka makes it especially difficult for Nori, as she is a member of an association that wants to defend the Gunma culture against strangers. At the same time, Nori learns the cultural characteristics of the region, also in order to fit in better.
