Omaha Records is a music label for singer / songwriters and bands in the independent sector. It was founded in 2005 by Gisbert zu Knyphausen .

According to the label's website, the name pays homage to the Omaha- based label Saddle Creek Records and its co-founder Conor Oberst . A free download sampler appears annually . In addition, the "Omaha Records Festival" has been taking place since 2012.
