The Omhedi Cultural Landscape ( English Omhedi Cultural Landscape ) is a cultural landscape near Engela in the Ohangwena region in northern Namibia . Since September 1st, 2011 it has been a National Monument of Namibia .

The cultural landscape borders on the palace of the Uukwanyama , which is located in the northern Namibian village of Omhedi and is a power center of the Uukwanyama tribe . The palace property has been ruled by Martha Mwadinomho waKristian yaNelumbu since 2005 . The Uukwanyama, a clan of the Ovambo , are spread over 55 villages in the four O regions there .
