One Earth - One Ocean e. V. (oeoo) is an environmental organization founded in 2011 whose primary goal is to clean plastic waste from worldwide waters .

One Earth - One Ocean was founded in 2011 by Günther Bonin. The association has been working on the development of concepts for cleaning water since it was founded. At first it was only about removing plastic waste, but now also about removing oil and other pollutants .

The association is developing various types of ships to collect plastic waste from water: Since 2012, sea hamsters developed by One Earth - One Ocean have been on the move in inland waters and the Baltic Sea . These are small catamarans around four meters long and two meters wide with a fold-down safety net or safety harness that is used to collect plastic waste from inland waters. The SeeKuh , a ship measuring 12 × 10 meters, has also been in use since 2016 . It is used in coastal regions and estuaries, such as B. in the Baltic Sea and in Hong Kong. Since 2018, One Earth - One Ocean has been developing the SeeElefant , a container ship that is supposed to take over the rubbish collected by the manatee cows and to process, sort, process and, among other things, reprocess it into oil using the system technology integrated in the ship. In 2019, the association received the Federal Ecodesign Award in the "Concept" category for the SeeElefant .
