One Prudential Plaza is a consummate in 1955 skyscraper in Chicago .

After its completion in 1955, the block-shaped building was the second tallest skyscraper in Chicago. The One Prudential Plaza is 183 meters high and has a very long antenna on its roof, making the structure 278 meters high. The official building height, however, is only given as 183 meters, i.e. the roof height, since, unlike spiers, attached antennas do not count towards the height. The building has 41 floors, which are mainly used for office space. The skyscraper is not far from the shores of Lake Michigan . Right next to him is the 303 meter high Two Prudential Plaza , which was only built in 1990.
