Ongoni ( Arabic اونقونی) is a place on the island of Anjouan in the island state of Comoros in the Indian Ocean . In 1991 there were 1280 inhabitants.
geography
Ongoni is located on the east coast of the island between Harembo and Bambao . To the south of the village, the Chandra valley opens up in the center of the island. The Fiumaras Mroni Moantsi Troni , Kavelé , Madziamahili , Hamouanaïssa and Mro Tatinga flow into the sea in this area.
