Onosma bubanii is a plant type from the genus of onosma ( Onosma ) in the family of the Boraginaceae (Boraginaceae).
description
Onosma bubanii is a perennial plant . The flower-bearing stems reach heights of 15 to 20 cm. These are upright, unbranched, finely haired and hairy with protruding, 2 to 3 mm long bristles. The lower leaves are 40 to 50 mm long and 3 to 5 mm wide and narrowly elongated.
The inflorescences are not branched. The flower stalks are 0 to 2 mm long. The bracts are about as long as the calyx . This is 11 to 14 mm long at flowering time and is densely covered with long, yellow bristles. The crown is 16 to 20 mm long, pale yellow and hairless, or only sometimes has a few hairs on the corolla lobes.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 12.
Occurrence
The species is common in the Pyrenees .
