Onosma fastigiata is a plant type from the genus of onosma ( Onosma ) in the family of the Boraginaceae (Boraginaceae).

description

Onosma fastigiata is a grass-forming perennial plant . The flower-bearing stems reach heights of 10 to 30 cm. Several stems appear per plant, they are branched, finely hairy and hairy with protruding bristles 1.5 to 2 mm long. The lower leaves are 50 to 100 mm long and 4 to 8 mm wide, elongated and often hairy with star-shaped, 1.5 to 2 mm long bristles, the rays of which are 0.1 to 0.2 mm long.

The inflorescences are branched. The flower stalks are 0 to 2 mm long. The bracts are the same length as the calyx . This is 10 to 15 mm long at flowering time, enlarges to 16 to 25 mm on the fruit. The crown is 16 to 22 mm long, pale yellow and sparsely hairy. Usually it is about 1.5 to twice as long as the chalice.

The fruits are about 3 mm long, smooth nuts .

Occurrence

The species is widespread in Spain, in central and southern France , in northwestern Italy .

Systematics

At least two subspecies can be distinguished:

  • Onosma fastigiata (Brown-Blanq.) Lacaita subsp. fastigiata : It occurs in Spain, France and Italy.
  • Onosma fastigiata subsp. pyrenaica (Braun-Blanq.) Valdés : It occurs in Spain.
