Onosma thracica is a plant type from the genus of onosma ( Onosma ) in the family of the Boraginaceae (Boraginaceae).
description
Onosma thracica is a perennial plant with a slender, branching rhizome from which some flower-bearing stems grow. The latter reach heights of growth of 15 to 25 cm, are upright, mostly unbranched and densely fine-haired and hairy with 1 to 2 mm long bristles. Most of the bristles are star-shaped and provided with about 0.1 to 0.2 mm long beams. The lower leaves are 10 to 25 mm long and 1 to 3 mm wide.
The flower stalks are 0 to 2 mm long. The bracts are shorter than the calyx . This is 6 to 8 mm long at the flowering time and has star-shaped bristles. The crown is 14 to 18 mm long, pale yellow and sparsely hairy and about twice as long as the calyx.
The fruits are about 2.5 mm long, smooth nuts .
Occurrence
The species occurs in the south and east of Bulgaria and in the European part of Turkey.
