Homomallium is a moss species from the order of Hypnales .
features
The leaves are arranged on one side. They are not curved circularly, are hollow and oval or oval-lanceolate in shape. The leaf margin is entire or serrated in the upper area. The lamina cells are elongated (prosenchymatous). The leaf wing cells are numerous and square.
The capsule is curved and asymmetrical.
Systematics
The genus is part of the Hypnaceae family and closely related to the Hypnum genus . It consists of 14 species, of which only one occurs in Europe:
