Career

Bektaş started club football in the youth of MKE Ankaragücü and played for the capital city people , except for six months in the youth of Gazi Fişekspor . In the summer of 2004 he switched to the then third division club Erzincanspor as a professional player . After a year he left this club and played in turn for Kızılcahamamspor and İnegölspor .

In spring 2009 he moved to the unknown provincial club and then fourth division club TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor . With this club he became champions of the TFF 3rd Lig in the summer of 2009 and rose to the third highest Turkish league, the TFF 2nd Lig . In the following year they achieved the play-off victory of the TFF 2nd Lig in summer 2010 and thus rose for the first time in the club's history in the second highest Turkish league, the TFF 1st Lig . In the TFF 1. Lig they sat down at the top of the table and even took over the lead at times. At the end of the season, the club made it into the relegation of the TFF 1st Lig and missed promotion to the Süper Lig in the penultimate instance.

After these two successful years, the team experienced a revision due to the departure of many players. I.a. Bektaş also left the club and went to league rivals Boluspor . Here he dissolved his contract after just one season and moved to the second division Göztepe Izmir .
