history

OpenRaster was conceived in 2006 at the “Libre Graphics Meeting” in Lyon. Developers of free graphics software met there and discussed this free format based on the OpenDocument format for the first time. With version 0.7.0, the programmers of MyPaint adapted the new format 2009 as the standard format for storing the images.
