Operation Tidal Wave II

The Operation Tidal Wave II ( German  tidal wave II ) aims within the framework of Operation Inherent Resolve the United States Armed Forces to the destruction by bombing of the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS) controlled oil -Förderanlagen and transportation aircraft in the area of Iraq and Syria . The operation began on October 21, 2015.

In an initial wave of attacks up to November 16, 2015, 116 tank trucks were destroyed.
