Opti 2017

The opti is an international trade fair for optics and design. The trade fair is held annually by the Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen mbH (GHM) alternately at the Munich exhibition center and the Stuttgart exhibition center. The complete optical spectrum is displayed on over 48,000 m².

history

The trade fair was organized for the first time in 1998 by the Salzburg OK trade fairs under the name Opti-Munich in the MOC-Center Munich , back then as a purely German-speaking trade fair. It has been taking place in the New Munich Trade Fair Center since 2004. In 2008 the Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen (GHM) took over the organization of opti and positioned the trade fair internationally. From 2021 onwards, the fair is to take place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center in odd years and then switch to the New Munich Exhibition Center every year.
