Order of the Happy League

The Order of the Happy League , also known as the Ordre de I'heureuse alliance , was a house order in Saxony-Hildburghausen .

The founder was Duke Friedrich Christian Ernst of Saxony-Hildburghausen. The date of foundation is October 1st, 1749 . The occasion was the wedding with Luise of Denmark. The order was intended for the nobles and also for the military and civilian employees of the house. The order expired a few years later.

The decoration was a golden, white enameled Maltese cross . As the Order currency ": the sentence served Fideilte constance ".

Ribbon and way of wearing

The ribbon was rose-red with a silver stripe on the edge as a border. The order was worn around the neck as a neck medal .
