Order of the Dove
The Order of the Dove (also known as the Order of Reason ) was an English knightly order . The founder was King Henry of England in 1399 in his first year as a king. The order was created for the nobility and for honoring merits in war.
Order decoration
The decoration of the order was a silver dove flying downwards on a round gold medallion . This medallion was surrounded by stripes and was worn on a gold chain around the neck .
