Original print
In photography , the term original print or English vintage print refers to a print that was made by the photographer himself "or at least under his direct supervision" immediately after the negative was created. They are the "originals" of the art form of photography in that, in principle, any number of prints can be made from a negative. Vintage prints are usually signed and / or numbered by the photographer.
On the art market, vintage prints are also understood to mean prints that are no longer used today, e.g. B. fine printing , color lithography , Cromalin , copper or steel engraving , were generated.
