Orion ( Japanese 仙術 超 攻 殻 ORION, Senjutsu Chiyō Kōkaku ORION ) is a manga by the Japanese illustrator Masamune Shirow . In contrast to his other well-known works, he does not set in the future, but can still be assigned to the genre science fiction and action.
action
In another world, the space-time navigator Seska bursts into the middle of an incantation ceremony during a visit to her father Fuzen, a temple priest. Since incantation is a science controlled by the monarchically built state, it falls under the spell of those summoners who want to prevent a state incantation experiment.
Seska then causes a lot of mischief in a fit of megalomania, which Fuzen wants to avert with the help of the god of destruction, Susano .
Publications
Orion was released in Japan on December 24, 1991 as a single volume by Seishinsha . A new edition ( shinsōban ) was published in February 2010 .

In the USA he appeared from 1992 to 1993 in six editions by Dark Horse Comics and in France 1994-1995 in two volumes by Glénat .
