Orlandina Basket is a basketball club in Capo d'Orlando , metropolitan city of Messina , Sicily , which played in the highest Italian basketball league Lega Basket Serie A from 2005 to 2008 and from 2014 to 2018 . In 2007/08 he reached, led by builder Gianmarco Pozzecco , the play-offs , in the first round of which he was eliminated by Air Avellino . Although athletically qualified, Orlandina received no license for the subsequent season and had to relegate to the lower class Serie C regional league. The club, whose club colors are blue and white, plays home games in the PalaFantozzi hall , named after the former player Alessandro Fantozzi .
Placements
Capo d'Orlando has played in Serie A since the 2014/15 season. After the end of the 2017/18 season, the club was relegated to Serie A2 . So far, the following placements have been achieved in Serie A:
